Yesterday, one of our Malaysian customers called and said he had problems about the newly imported RUNMA take-out robots.
One was about the appearance of a robot. An 1-axis take-out robot was dropped on floor while his engineers trying to install it on the injection molding machine. The bottom of electric box was slightly dented. He tole me he was lucky, with the appearance of the robot was affected only, the robot still works well after testing it. One of our technicians told him, "Please tap the corner of the electric box and try if the shape can be better. If it still looks not good and you refuse to take it, our factory will send a new electric box for you to replace."
The other was about the vertical stroke of a take-out robot. He bought a 800mm single axis robot for a 280T injection molding machine. After installation, they found the vertical stroke was not long enough, needing an additional length of 50mm. He asked us if it's possible to send him materials so that he could change the arms of the robot by himself. Well, that may be a way to solve the problem, but not economically, because sending the materials to Malaysia takes a lot of time and money, plus, his workers need 1-2 days to change the arms of the robot. In fact, the price of a 800mm take-out robot and of a 900mm take-out robot is close, with a small gap estimated about few thousand yuan. We told him it's not worth replacing the arms, "Try to use a shorter mounting base if you have stock. If it still doesn't work, you will need to change a higher robot and our factory will try to shorten the delivery time so that you can install the new robot ASAP."
Finally, the customer solved the problems and was quite delighted with our after-sales service.
