Possible Problems and Solutions When Using 3-Axis Robots


Problem: Fail to suck products occasionally

Reason 1: The air pipe is folded,the air can not go through.
Solution: Dredge the pipe, or replace the damaged pipe.
Reason 2: The air pipe or pipe connector is leaking air.
Solution: Replace the air pipe or pipe connector.
Reason 3: The electromagnetic valve (valve switch) is stucked.
Solution: Check if the wires of the electromagnetic valve are loose, and loose wires cause poor contact of electric.
Reason 4: Opening stroke or thimble stroke is unstable.
Solution: Re-set the pressure and speed of mold opening and thimble. Repair the injection machine if needed.

Problem: Fail to suck products every time

Reason 1: Check if turn on the suck function of robot.
Solution: Check the operation system and enter "suck on ,clip on" into the system.
Reason 2: Vacuum pump or vacuum generator problem.
Solution: Take off the vacuum pump or vacuum generator,check if the Vacuum Pump/ Vacuum generator has adsorption force. Replace the vacuum pump or vacuum generator if needed.
Reason 3: Electromagnetic valve problem.
Solution: Replace the Electromagnetic valve.
Reason 4: The air pipe is folded,the air can not go through the pipe.
Solution: Dredge the pipe, or replace the damaged pipe.

Problem: Alarm even if 3-axis robot successfully suck products, and "suck off" appears on the panel

Reason 1: Vacuum suck wires may loose.
Solution: Check vacuum suck wires.
Reason 2: Negative pressure detection switch is set improperly.
Solution: Follow the instruction to set the parameter. Avoid parameter larger than maximum limit.
Reason 3: Negative pressure detection switch problem.
Solution: Replace the negative pressure detection switch.

Problem: 3-axis robot alarm "arm rotating or back to position on/off"

Reason 1: Alarm "arm rotating or back to position on/off".
Solution: Adjust the position of Reed Switch so that the wires are connected into the sensing area. After adjusting, tighten the screws.
Reason 2: Reed switch of the wrist flip has a problem.
Solution: Replace the reed switch.
Reason 3: Air pressure is too low, don't reach the stadard air pressure.
Solution: Adjust the air pressure, standard 5-7kg.
Reason 4: Wrist flip cylinder is stucke or not working. Rack is attrited.
Solution: Repair or replace the wrist flip.

Problem: The injection machine don't lock the mold while using 3-axis robot arm automatically

Reason 1: 3-axis robot arm turned off the switch of mold locking.
Solution: Open and close the safety door - one time.
Reason 2: 3-axis robot alarm.
Solution: Cancel the alarm, then open and close the safety door one time.
Reason 3: Circuit board has a problem (Recycling problem).
Solution: Replace the recycling appliance, or repaire the circuit board.
Reason 4: If set the 3-axis robot program to "robot standby outside of mold".
Solution: Set the 3-axis robot program to "robot standby inside mold" or "robot standby outside mold "according to your actual requirements. If set "robot standby outside mold", mold can only be locked after the robot arms moved outside of the mold.

Problem: 3-axis robot arm don't move down automatically

Reason1: Mold open complete signal has a problem.
Solution: Check if injection machine output the mold open complete signal.
Reason2: Full-automatic signal has a problem.
Solution: Check if open the function of "robot full automatic". normally, the automatic status should be " open".
Reason3: Safety door signal has a problem.
Solution: Check if the injection machine safety door signal is working.
Reason4: Wire connection between robot and injection machine has a problem.
Solution: Check if the wire connection is correct, or if the connection area is loose, or wires break.
Reason5: Injection machine didn't open the "robot function",or robot is set" not use". Aviation plug is not plug in "use robot".
Solution: Open the injection machine "robot function".
