RUNMA manufactures and supplies mainly two types of take-out robots, namely swing take-out robots and travese take-out robots. This article will focus on their features and functions.
Swing Take-out Robots (Model: RX650V, RX750V)
Swing arm robots are suitable for horizontal injection molding machine below 150T, and can only be used for taking out runners. Cheapest as they are in our factory, swing take-out robots perform limited function. Thus customers do not use them very often. "RX" stands for "swing robot", "650" stands for "robot vertical stroke 650mm" and "V" means "one arm". We have RX650V (RUNMA swing arm robot, one arm, vertical stroke 650mm.) and RX750V (RUNMA swing arm robot, one arm, vertical stroke 750mm.)
Traverse Take-out Robots (1-Axis, 2-Axis, 3-Axis, 5-Axis; RHD, RQ)
Traversing take-out robots are suitable for horizontal injection molding machines from 80T up to 3000T.
1-Axis robots mean that traverse stroke is driven by AC servo motors while vertical stroke and crosswise stroke are driven by pneumatic actuators. They can be used for picking up most products, like headsets, which are easy to pick, without strict requirements towards the surface and without need of piling up.
2-Axis robots mean the traverse stroke and vertical stroke are driven by AC servo motors while crosswise stroke is driven by pneumatic actuators. They are suitable for food industry like thin wall, plastic spoons and forks. Our 2-axis take-out robots' cycle time is 4 seconds, which is amazingly fast. If equipped with a conveyor belt, our 2-axis traverse robots can pile up the thin walls or spoons on it.
3-Axis robots mean that all three strokes of the main arm are driven by AC servo motors while strokes of the sub-arm are driven by pneumatic actuators if there is a sub-arm. For plastic products which need to insert metals into the mold before injection, a 3-axis take-out robot is your best choice.
5-Axis robots mean that all strokes of the two arms are driven by AC servo motors. They can be used for products which have high requirements of the products and runners.
